About MDPAC
The McKinley Park Dog Park Advisory Council is a team of volunteers dedicated to maintaining and caring for the Dog Friendly Area. MDPAC organizes events and actively involves the community to the best of their ability. They are always looking for more volunteers to join their efforts.
Our Story
The McKinley Dog Park Advisory Council began with a group of individuals banding together in 2014 to create a Dog Friendly Area on Chicago's Southwest Side. The park was built after 6 years of surveying locations, engaging with neighbors, and fundraising. Members of MDPAC have changed over the years, but what remains the same is their dedication to maintaining an excellent dog park and surrounding community.
